We appreciated the ease of scheduling, the positive friendly and upbeat demeanor of front office staff, and the gentle and kind treatment of Rocky by Dr. Bain. We recently adopted a dog from a local shelter, so we had a lot of questions about his immediate and ongoing health; Dr. Bain took the time to answer all of our questions and provided many different treatments options for different concerns; this helped put our minds at ease, knowing that he was in the care of someone who had his best interests at heart and wasn’t pushing one particular treatment option over another. Dr. Bain was thorough and detailed, and treated Rocky like he was a member of our family. Since first reaching out to the clinic, communication has been outstanding— from phone calls to text to emails— we prefer detailed communication to lack thereof. Overall, we are very pleased thus far with the care and treatment Rocky is receiving. It was especially a nice touch to have his name on the chalkboard by the front entrance on his appointment day. I wish they had pointed it out to us; fortunately, my husband saw it as we were leaving, and we were able to take a selfie in front of it. A very cute touch, and a wonderful way to make pet parents feel like their pet is valued and special!

Excellent vet. I am using them for Animal Health Certificates so that my three cats can fly from San Fran to London. This is complex and the staff seem very knowledgable and focused. They are communicating promptly and effectively with my animal transport agency (Katie at The Pet Hustle).

Always have had a good experience here. I have primarily worked with Dr. Neal who I have found to be competent and always puts my pets first (kitten/cat). She presents treatment options and timelines without being pushy and is genuinely kind and thoughtful to both me and my furry family members. I highly recommend this clinic!.

Very patient, clear communication, and professional service from Dr. Bystrom and the team. It makes my first visit with a reactive dog much less stressful than it would have been. Reasonable price.

First off, I love that there are separate entrances for cats and dogs — as my cat is very shy and scared of loud noises like barking. I also love how the waiting area, despite being small, is never packed. At most, it's me and another person. It doesn't seem like they're rushing people in and out and they take their time with each pet. The staff at Los Altos Vet Clinic is always so friendly and welcoming and every doctor I've come across has been so caring and kind. I really get a sense that they love animals and care about their patients. I have gotten blood work multiple times for my cat, and every time, I get a call from the doctor themselves, on the test results. I've traveled all over the world with my cat and Los Altos Vet Clinic is by far my favorite clinic I've been to. I'd highly recommend them to all cat and dog owners!

The staff - receptionists, technicians and veterinarians are all very friendly and love the animals. The waiting room is spacious and carefully considered to allow animals to be spaced apart. Prescription requests and follow up communication are prompt and professional. Examination rooms are clean and organized. all the vets are very caring and can handle the animals well.

I recently transferred my fur baby to Los Altos from Cameron Vet and am so happy I did! All the staff are incredibly professional, but what really stands out is how genuinely caring and compassionate they are with animals. You can tell they truly love what they do! I have the upmost confidence that my pet Posey will be well taken care at Los Altos Veterinary Clinic.

I really appreciate the special touches the clinic provides, like writing my pet’s name in beautiful handwritten lettering, the clean environment, the churros, and the helpful, attentive staff. The goodie bag at the end was such a thoughtful bonus! There was hardly any wait time, and everything was pleasant and efficient. Thank you for being so caring and generous with your time, knowledge, and skills.

Love this clinic. Anika Ozzy cj max jake and Jimmie love Dr B. She's always ready and willing to help. She is the kindest vet we ever had and they (the doctors) don't try to up sell you on unnecessary tests, they all are there for the animals and their comfort not the money. It's a 45 minute to an hour drive depending on traffic sometimes more, for us but is so worth it.

Dr. Gould did amazing! Miko always loves his vet visits since he is a treat motivated cat. Even tho he did not get any treats last visit, it looks like he still had a blast with Dr. Gould. Dr. Gould was overall professional and knowledgeable. We are glad that we continue to have Los Altos vet to care for the 3 feline family members we have!
